What the Hell Vox?

Comments

Try copy-n-paste from and html email sometime. I have to totally reconstruct the text in a text document first or it looks like crap and causes a script error. Even then it adds spaces and ignores or adds paragraph breaks.
Oh man..isn't that frustrating! I had one that was so bad it wasn't even coherent. DeWitte did something with a bunch of bigger and less then signs and junk like that and it made it a little better but still, average people, like me, don't know how to do stuff like that. If you're not married to a computer geek, what are you supposed to do? I guess have ugly posts.
It is frustrating as hell.....and it should be easy...we should not have these problems...I love Vox because it's easy to post....but when it does this.....and I'm a computer geek!
Yuck. Looks like it is removing some of the extra line breaks - I've got a simple solution, although it may not be the prettiest - put in the html for a horizontal rule (HR in brackets) in between each item and when Vox asks you whether you want it to translate HTML, say yes. It'll make sure the photo for the next entry is bumped down enough below the HR so it's left aligned. Unfortunately, I haven't had the same success with just trying to manually insert line breaks or paragraph tags in the html - Vox seems to remove the extras even if I'm adding it in HTML. Maybe a table element would fix this too?
I was hoping to avoid the coding....defeats the purpose of a quick and easy post...but thanks for the idea
That's what I don't like, either. That happens many many times for me, and it's very annoying.
If you think that's bad, try composing a post from one of the firefox betas. Most of the formatting buttons are just broken.
Now that I think about it...I made the post using Firefox...hmmmmm
