This is for all you web designers out there who are curious to see what their website would look like in different browsers. Browsershots.org does just that, all you have to do is key in the website address to test, choose up to 53 different browsers (and yes you can test more than one at a time) then hit submit. What you get in the end are screenshots of the website and the chosen browsers. I choose to test about 40 or so and the entire process took about an hour. Worth the wait considering it's free!
Are you a fan of Diggnation? They have fans in St. Louis that's for sure. I do like the show, but I must admit I'm not a crazy, nut job fan. Afterall, they just talk about the top Dugg stories on Digg.
The war is over so let the headaches begin! You just updated your entire collection of Adam Sandler movies to HD-DVD, now their out dated. Figures. Thank you technology! Went down like the Betamax. There is a fix to get those HD-DVD's translated to Blu-Ray, but what a pain in the butt it is. The folks over at Wired posted some great instructions, but you may need to buy a whole new PC. Things you'll need:
- A Windows machine with a fast processor
- An HD-DVD drive
- A Blu-Ray burner
- 30GB of free disk space, at least, though 40GB or more is recommended (holy crap)
- An internet connection to download all the software you need
I am so glad I waited for the stupid little war to end, now I can just go right to Blu-Ray.
I don't know why but something tells me that the guys over at Playstation are peeing in their pants with glee.
