Is it a Kindle killer? The Cybook offers support for Mobipocket PRC, PalmDoc, HTML, TXT, PDF. However there did seem to be a problem with PDF files as read in this article. Which is a shame because 90% of the reading I do is in PDF format. The unit costs $350 and for an extra $100 you can get a leather case, USB charger, earphones and a 2GB SD card. Until they fix this PDF issue I won't be buying one, but it is good to see some competition for the Kindle.
You can get the Cybook Gen3 Reader here.

For example, the NT build number, processor revision, loaded drivers and addresses, disk drive characteristics, and memory size are all taken from the system Bluescreen is running on.

The company reportedly destroys all copies of the software and attempts to erase the entire episode from its public record.
